Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) & Appliances Training & Re-Assessment

This course is for Gas Installers who need to renew their ACS qualifications in order to maintain their membership with Gas Safe Register. This can be completed up to six months prior to the expiry date of your existing qualifications without losing out the remaining period (MOT Style). The renewal date of new qualifications start from the expiry date of their existing qualification.

Course Structure

One Day Refresher Training

One Day for Theory and Practical Re-Assessment

This course can be completed up to six months prior to the expiry date of existing qualifications without losing out the remaining period.

The renewal date of new qualifications starts from the expiry date of their existing qualification.

  • Gas Safety Regulations and other relevant Legislation
  • Gas Emergency Actions and Procedures
  • Combustion
  • Gas Pressures and Gas Rates
  • Pipe Work and Fittings, Tightness Testing and Purging
  • Chimney Systems (Flue Flow Test, Spillage Test etc.)
  • Ventilation
  • Gas Unsafe Situation Procedures
  • Gas Controls
  • Flue Gas Analysis
  • Re-establish existing Gas Supply and Relight Procedures

Pre-requisite

ACS Current Certificate of Competence or no more than 12 months after the expiry date of the existing ACS Certificate of Competence.

Achievement Upon Completion
Upon successful completion, the candidate will receive a Certificate of Competence from AdSkills Certification.
